Sake-Braised Beef with Miso Dressing

To prepare the Miso Dressing, stir all the dressing ingredients together in a small bowl and set aside.
Season beef cubes with pepper and place in a medium bowl with onions and sesame oil. Toss well to coat.
Heat a medium frying pan or wok over high heat and add half of the beef and onions. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes or until meat is browned and onions tender. Remove and repeat with remaining beef and onions.
Combine both portions of beef and onions in the pan, and add sake and soy sauce. Cook for a further 30 seconds or until beef is tender and cooked. Remove from heat and keep warm.
To serve, arrange beef and onions on a serving plate and drizzle with Miso Dressing or serve dressing on the side. Garnish with spring onion.
